[Sunday December 20th, 2009 ] girl_gamers [bluehairedchild] Do you ever go through a phase of playing through old school games?  Lately I've been busting my ass on ebay trying to find some of the older Zelda games for Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance.  I loved playing Link's Awakening but can't find my copy and never got to experience some of the other games for the handhelds which is why I'm looking.  I'm looking for other older games like Wario.  Man I loved Warioland 3 but again can't find my copy.     Do you do this?  What games have become your nostalgia obsessions?    21 +

I know you can get some psp/ps3 stuff via computer but as I only got my credit card last month (and spent way too much on random crap) I haven't tested it yet... does nintendo have something similar? also, I know this probably doesn't work for the handhelds, but is there a way to plug the PS3 to the net? can I use a normal cable router for it or does it maybe even accept the internet stick I use for my laptop? 20 +

Cake Mania: In the Mix Wii [Saturday December 19th, 2009 ] girl_gamers [99blackballoons] So last night I bought this game because I liked playing it on the DS as a quick fairly mindless game to pass some time. My friend and I battled through Co-Op mode and barely made it to round 2! I was trying to find some helpful pages on which frostings are which (there are 3 different chocolates from what I can tell...) and just some general hints and tips but I'm not having any luck on google, just a handful of reviews bashing the game (I knew what I was buying, I guess they did not.) Dood! [Friday December 18th, 2009 ] girl_gamers [pariah164] [ mood | amused ] First off, thank you for all your advice about games to look at for the PSP; I read every single comment. However, yesterday I was out and about and just decided to look inside Gamestop. They had a copy of Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? for 30 bucks. I caved and used half my vacation money to snag it. The only one they had left was the 'gutted' one they used for the shelf display, but I didn't care as long as it was new. Anyone who knows NIS knows that they are most notorious for not having games on the shelf for very long (Atlus is a close second). Heck, even the NIS official store didn't have any in stock. I've played quite a bit, and so far, I'm verrrry happy with my purchase. There are those small control problems, but they're nowhere near game-breaking. So, it looks like either Crisis Core or Patapon is going to be my fourth game, since they both cost $20. Anyone else playing/played Prinny? 3 +

I was watching the VGAs a few nights ago, and when I saw the guys accept the award for Best FPS (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, obvs), one of them was wearing a Noob Tube shirt. You know the hilarious icon of the little stickman getting knocked backwards by an undetonated grenade? That one. There was no text or explanation, just the icon. Inside joke to the extreme. My husband couldn't stop laughing, and it would make a fantastic Christmas present. The problem is that I can't find one. Does anybody know where I could get one? He is still shy around my DS, Rose, but I'm sure they'll be friends soon. It's 2 AM. Shush. ...Anyways, I'm going to have about $63 or so to spend on my upcoming vacation. I have... too many games to mention on my DS, and for my PSP I have Persona and (after Xmas) Dissidia. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should look into for both systems?
